we went camping in Enchanted Rock State Park. Weather forecast said lows of 40F. We hiked out to our site at dusk, 2 miles later, set camp in hurricane style winds (about 23mph) then crawled inside just as the sun was completely down. We each had ear warmers, fleece hoodie, gloves, wool socks, & sweat pants-- we wore it all. Had to unzip or individual sleeping bags just so the dogs could cuddle under with us- for al of our sakes. It was miserably cold. This is the morning after. TAKE EXTRA BLANKETS TO ENCHANTED ROCK!! IT'S WIIIIIINDY!!!
